She is in her final days and the facility has allowed me to spend most of my nights with her. Their meals are three times a day and sharp as a knife. A lights out is enforced after 10 but also residents are permitted to sit up and read. Truly this is one of the better homes in New Jersey.

The food is not the best, but I understand that it is not a 5 star restaurant and the food is not always going to taste the best in the world. Overall it is a very good place, and I would recommend it to anyone who lives in the Burlington area, it may even be worth traveling for. Masonic Village was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The residents were very nice and interacted with each other very nicely. The apartments that we looked at had a little lobby, kitchen with appliances, a sitting area, and a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. They had green houses, a lot of nice activities, certain activities outside of the facility and transportation to and from doctors' appointments and shopping.

There are also gardens and walking paths to enjoy the outdoors. As always, the goal is to help residents feel connected. Care and services provided to my in-laws and currently my mother has been wonderful. The team listens to the resident and family to ensure quality care. As visitation is now allowed at all times for all residents, CMS expects Compassionate Care visits to be rare events, however they will be allowed at all times.

It's not that far from restaurants and shopping. It's not as pretty and not as nice as the newer places. This facility was nice, it was clean and the staff seemed very nice. I was very comfortable with leaving my family member there, and she loves it.
As our the COVID activity level for our county is high, face shields or goggles are required. Independent Living Activities have all restarted. In-person Church services have restarted with social distanced seating. The hair salon is opened for Independent Living, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living residents. Please remember it is still important to follow COVID-19 guidelines regarding distancing and masking.
Please keep in mind for any perishable items brought to the community that we cannot guarantee that items are immediately delivered. After handling items, the CDC indicates that team members and residents should sanitize or wash their hands thoroughly. Our community must test unvaccinated individuals according to the community transmission level as reported by the CDC and our policy. Our policy currently this requires testing twice week. The NJ Department of Health, has indicated that there is an increased in outbreaks and deaths in nursing facilities related to the diminishing effectiveness of the 1st booster shot.

From what I witnessed and was told by my grandmother, the assisted-living-facility was a great place to be in. The staff members were more than cordial towards the patient's. My grandmother stated on numerous occasions that she was completely happy and extremely satisfied with the treatment and care she was receiving at the facility.
Karen and I have been living here for 29 months and it has been a very wonderful experience. The primary reason for our move was that almost all of our maintenance is done by the village. We have also become friends with a great many very nice people. It feels like we are living in a very well maintained park.
This vaccine replaces the current COVID booster vaccines. Residents must be physically distanced during any group activity and masks must be worn. We currently have 1 active IL resident COVID case.
